btw...the last time my X thrown with such behaviour...batt kong is 1 thing...it could be the chip part handling the batt has issue...

I headed for 3rd party as out of warranty...
the guy recommend me to give up (as I have both the display touch issue, and the batt, he think the chance is some form of liquid damage get into the phone, and he can't tell if there is any other damage yet), as changing the batt+display alone going to cost me 2.2k, without being able to diagnose further yet if there is other damage require replacement.
Full device replacement with AASP gonna rob me close to 3K....

Guys, the YouTube app finally allows us to watch in 4k resolution (2160). My iPhone 11 liquid retina screen (sub HD) shows this option. Just thought of letting everyone know.

True that...but there are efficiency gains due to non down scaling of content. Placebo effect the video looks more crispy in 2160 res. LOL.

The content will still look crispier the technically. Iphone OLED has over 1080p display so if u just play a 1080p technically not all the pixels are filled so it will be be doing scaling up to fill up the pixels. Becos of it is scaled up, it will still not as crisp as full resolution content.

If 4K content you have content that can fill the full pixels of the OLED display although not in 4K. But due to this it will look crispier too.

When are they going to have another update? I find iOS 14 full of bugs. Either that or my device has issues. like just now the screen was so dim and dark despite adjusting the brightness up and down. I had to restart only it returned back to normal.

Is it a known issue with iOS 14 that folders of apps on homescreen will not respond when clicked? May have to click a few times for the folder to react and show the contents inside?

Noticed this on both my 11 Pro and SE (2020). Both running iOS 14.0.1.

No other touch screen issues, though.

We will probably see an update for iOS 14.0.2/14.1 on 13 Oct after the Apple iPhone event. iOS 14.2 might drop when iPhone 12 goes on sale on 23 Oct.

is anyone having whatsapp call issues - like you don't receive notifications at all? When you check your messages only to realise that there are like 2~3 missed calls on whatsapp calls.

It rings sometimes but looking at my history, it doesn't ring 90% of the time. why ah? All my notifications are on. It feels like whenever i am on screen lock then it doesn't ring. Whenever i am using my phone and i receive call then it will ring?

Same issue here with iOS 14.0.1 ,, just updated to iOS 14.1 Not sure how this would go but for some reason it feels faster than iOS 14.0.1 or is it just me?
