Actually Digi is pushing too far already...
Seems like want to cover every segments of the market...

Some says their team is from previously Celcom...
Thus so many complicated plans offered...

You both think so too? Seriously DiGi is the biggest loser now. They've been infected by the same bad culture which taunts TM, Celcom and once Maxis for hiring ex-staffs from those 2 companies which hopped over.

Those companies were known to keep pushing new plans almost every few week until their own front-line staffs sometimes don't even know they're in existence. They became so confusing until the customers were cheated left and right by clauses they didn't even know which quietly been added with each new plans introduced.

I am already considering to port out of DiGi now. The difference I pay every month for their BiGBonus and competing Unlimited data plans is just a mere RM5. Every month I top-up a min of RM30 to allow them to auto renew the BiGBonus plan on time so it's not really RM28. Top-up reloads are non refundable.

Yours Live.  Sure beyond 32kbps lorh 🤣😅
Next is 32kbps only..  seriously what they thinking 😣

More like the staffs who are coming out with silly plans for DiGi now are SPIES sent to the company to purposely destroy the company just like Malaysian political scene.

32kbps is just as good as no internet. You can't even send Whatsapp messaging with that because upon launching the app, authentication and server connection will take a very long time to go through causing the app to hang.

Instead of coming out with a better plan than previous BiGBonus, the RM28 monthly plan now has the daily 1GB (1pm-7pm) quota removed replaced with a 2GB data bonus on-time renewal quota? That's a loss of some 28GB of free data because 30x1GB=30GB.

No it’s not. The existing pass you are talking about is still being offered on Digi NEXT Prepaid and can be found on Digi website too.

What's the point of promoting the new NEXT Prepaid plan then when new plan = old plan with even less?

RM28 Monthly Recurring Plan

BiGBonus 28 = Unlimited Calls + 4GB + Daily 1GB for 1pm-7pm

Next 28 = Unlimited Calls + 4GB + Extra 2GB for On-time Renewal Monthly + (After Quota Depletion speed 32kbps??)

WTF?? doh.gif

Their BRILLIANT marketing strategy is going to burn DiGi's pockets for sure. The genius who come out with such plan should be sacked on the spot by shareholders. That'll save the company more money.

No such thing as Next 28. The pass is still known as BiGBonus 28 and the free 30GB data is still being offered too. Not only you are confused, you are confusing the people here too.

And there are actually two RM28 monthly passes, BiGBonus 28 and Internet Cili Padi 28. Both passes however are not special to Digi NEXT Prepaid. I can see both passes on my Digi LiVE Prepaid too.

But otherwise everyone agrees that there is nothing special about Digi NEXT Prepaid unless one really wants the up to 2GB free data for renewing your monthly pass on time. The hugely promoted RM15 Cili Padi pass with a validity of 30 days is available on Digi LiVE Prepaid too.
*
Ok fine, the Monthly 28 plan promoted in their leaflets is actually referring to the BiGBonus 28 plan.

Then how about the extra 2GB on-time top up awarded to only NEXT Prepaid pack users? Won't the other older prepaid plan users be pissed again or they're going to be compensated with something else such as loyalty quotas??

What is the whole point of introducing a new prepaid plan then? doh.gif
Indirectly forcing people with older plans to switch to the new and accept the even more ridiculous 32kbps data depletion clause which is basically "no internet"?

Digi marketing team "very brilliant" to come up with this kind of offering  icon_question.gif
sure would create some backlash one...

No, they'll start crying once their prepaid users start porting out in masses. icon_question.gif

People on Digi Smart and Digi LiVE have something better. You should know too since you’re a Digi Prepaid User yourself.

Digi Smart was phased out a long time ago, replaced by Digi LiVE. Digi never forced people on legacy Digi Prepaid Plan to migrate unless one does so willingly.

No sane person on Digi Smart or Digi LiVE will migrate to Digi NEXT unless they really want the up to 2GB free quota for renewing their monthly pass on time.

At time of writing, Digi is still selling Digi LiVE Prepaid pack both in store as well as online on Digi website.

Why change something when it isn't broken but instead improve them even further?
Instead of introducing a totally new revamped plan, why can't they just throw in a offer which gives everyone free 2GB as thank you offer for on time top-ups.

It's not cheap to reprint new SIM packs and marketing a new plan which isn't much different than the old you know.

Also I'm just a new Prepaid Live user which just transferred from Postpaid 2 months ago. I'm getting silly BOS offers which pushes "daily unlimited calls" when I'm already subscribed to BiGBonus 28.
Isn't that stupid? Why would I even buy something for nothing?

Digi Prepaid NEXT is a poorly thought out plan whose benefits can mostly be enjoyed by Live and Best 2017 users.  The only advantage is the 10 sen/min call rate which only really affects heavy callers who don't have unlimited calls.  And some IDD freebies.

You have to be pretty naive to move any existing Digi plan to this NEXT plan.
*
What's NEXT?

DiGi expects their customers to READ their minds and do their own serious homework with their incomplete and rushed out brochures/banners?

RM0.10 per min? That's RM6 per hour. With an additional RM5 I can already get an unlimited plan with unmetered calls for less.

Naive? Care to explain your precious opinion?

I am using Live and subscribing to Cili Padi RM15/ month. So if I load RM100 (with 120 days validity) and assuming I don't make any calls or SMS, at the end of 120 days validity, I will have RM60 locked-up by Digi unless I reload again.

At least with NEXT, as long as I keep subscribing RM15 Cili Padi every month, my credit will not be locked up for the next 6 months and without any reload.
*
I know what's heading NEXT for DiGi. They want to be the next XOX as a contender for number parking purposes.

If I really want to park numbers, I'd just top up the min with my prepaid number for credit accumulation and let it go into passive mode very month just to keep the number alive.

Why would I want to pay RM15 for nothing when I already have WiFi at home.My line in passive mode can still receive calls and also communicate via Whatsapp right?

If you are the type of user who does not use internet on the go at all and would rather the inconvenience of asking for wifi password everywhere you go, then ya you don't have to spend a single sen on internet plan. Call and SMS will still work as long as your credit is still active. I have may contacts like that.

There are many plans from other telcos which can do better than make you spend a min RM15 a month to keep your line active while getting some GB.

There's XOX which gives 2 years validity with options to buy seasonal pass for less, there's Unifi Mobile Prepaid which allows you to buy data on demand with no validity expiry or Tune Talk VIP plan for senior citizens.

RM15 a month is not cheap.That's RM180 a year.
