I use LG fridge and washing mesin b4. due to cheaper pricing and affordability. regret like sial. fridge after a while door hinge always jam and then after 2 year game over liao . then washing mesin i bought with built in dryer. after 3 year also game over liao.

cantik memang cantik, pricing also nice. but it just doesnt last.

now fridge and washing mesin i buy electrolux. 10 years and counting. i changed the bulb iside fridge once, and i change the socket motor on washing mesin once. really tahan lasak . price pay is more but i think is berbaloi since it dont give u shit.

Pop into a few electrical repair shops. Ask the boss what brands of which appliances are sent in to be worked on most often. Then do the sensible thing and avoid those brands.

My Hitachi fridge had to change the fan. Niama, the fan look like a PC chasis fan, but cost me RM250. Dunno if the part is really so expensive or the guy charge me a bomb because working during MCO.

The part cost RM20 approximately. Ayam replaced sensor DIY, LG cost RM20 only.

Got bad experience with LG TV only. It lasted 3 years when the panel spoilt. The repair cost is ridiculous because it cast about the same as buying a new TV. From that experience no more buying so called smart, 3D, etc. TV.

electrolux always has promo for the dual unit combo. it's not the latest though, they usually give 2-3 previous generation models whch is still good.

bosch i would rekomen as my cousin has used bosch for a very long time >10 years. but the price is more expensive. it's not like the clothes will get cleaner. bosch warranty also good. very fast come repair. only thing i dun like about bosch is their models look abit .......old fashioned. that's all. just unappealing aesthetics.

electrolux and bosch got stackable units. price wise, electrolux wins. looks wise, electrolux wins. however they are both memang tahan lasak 1.

Normally if panel rosak, just change the whole TV. Any brand also expensive. Luckily my LG TV still working fine... I think almost 5 years already.

But 3 years only already rosak is a bit ridiculous. I don't even watch it a lot but made the mistake of buying 3D TV at that time. The technicians said that was the main reason the panel rosak. Salah James Cameron and Avatar biggrin.gif

I use a LG invecter fridge bought for RM1,800/= in 2015. It work fine until this year the compressor rosak but under warranty. Pay RM350/=. to install new compressor and it work for one day and now rosak again. In between I call service tech to trouble shoot RM100/= each visit. I guess it time to buy a new fridge now. Good news, the same LG similar capacity still cost RM1,800 today but am thinking of panasonic 460liter model for RM2,700/=. Any other suggestion for a lasting fridge?
