But their setup is a different there. Viewqwest leases the passive optical fibres themselves and runs their own active equipment such as OLT/ONT fibre modems for last mile instead of City Broadband.

Correct me if I'm wrong, City Broadband was last time known as Setia Haruman which was a sub company of the Setia developer who founder later sold its company to the gomen and started another company known as EcoWorld. Later the company financial turned red and it was forced to be sold to TNB and some foreign investors. The company splitted and renamed to become Allo as what it is today under TNB group but also Viewqwest started to established their presence in Malaysia.

Some Allo CBB agent shared this list of Taman that will get Allo Fiber.
Some area in Batu Gajah will overlap TM Fiber.

FYI, areas such as Gunung Rapat, Pasir Puteh, Pengkalan, Station 18, Lahat, Batu Gajah and Simpang Pulai DO NOT use the Northern Ipoh exit to connect to the the national fibre grid backbone on highways.

They use the Southern Ipoh highway exit toll from Simpang Pulai which is closer to the Klang Valley and Southern gateway cities.

The highway exit at Ipoh Garden is called the Northern Ipoh exit, it's only more convenient if your heading north to Penang or Kedah if you take that exit.

Also another fibre backbone actually runs along the train railway tracks on electrification poles for the KTM ETS/EMU trains. Ipoh's Main Railway station is in the middle of city very closeby to Lahat only.
