not really. some ap set wont be able to use seus to update the firmware.

you always go to the service centre or handphone shop though. or the best is use other 3rd party, davinciteam or wotanserver to flash he firmware to latest, and change the cda keys, region etc to the right one, in hope can use seus next time.

haha...if wan update firmware for free and get 1 year warranty from SE but is from SG la, just buy the phone in SG, cheaper...but u hv to bring it back to SG for the service if there is something happen to ur phone lo...haha..
