keyboard still works?
at most, all i do is remove the keycaps, wash them, then clean out any dirt stuck in the keyboard. thats it 

if there is a serious issue where a switch is non functional, then i'd have to replace that switch. hasn't happened yet to me so far 

keycaps wearing out.... not an issue for me because i use doubleshots and dye sublimated keycaps. there may be some shine, especially on the spacebar, but it's not that bad or noticeable either.
