I LOL-ed. Everyone is talking about AI. AI is plain stupid unless u talk about playing chess.
In no way they can beat human in chat conversation and professional player in strategy game.

Even my 12 years old niece also chat better than best proclaimed AI chatbot.

Those of you play RPG/strategy game oredi know. So-called (hard difficulty more) just having more resources, more damage, or faster response than normal....

U see already know. They develop AI to defeat best player in chess. But they don't dare do the same for strategy game.
I challenge someone to develop AI that able to win 5 vs 5 game (MOBA legend and DOTA) in international tournament.

AI has been getting a lot of media attention lately. The thing is... true AI does not exist as of now. It's all just math right now and it lacks..I guess you can say "creativity" and "self-thinking".

Right now AI basically statistics on steroids. It beats players in Chess or Go simply because it has computations far beyond a human can do. For example a chess player may see 10-20 steps ahead, but for AI that's basically unlimited.

In a way, you are right. AI is stupid because it is unable to learn in an original way.

edit: the thing is for true AI there's a lot of questions to be answered like self-consciousness. It's not an easy thing and I do not think true AI can ever exist based on our current understanding.

IIRC, this OpenAI is limited because they're given limited set of hero pool.

And again...OpenAI works because they're fed with data created by guess what...humans.

Unless OpenAI can self-learn, in a way, it is stupid. It lacks creativity. Depends how you view things ya know

There is no 1 single AI that covers everything. AI at the moment cover specialized field. Even facial human emotion AI only works for just that. Visual human emotion. No one can actually tie that to actual emotion. Whats more tie it to conversation. They are trying it with SOPHIA. Which gives out weird and hilarious results.

TS thinking of AI now is based on application of sets of programmed instructions. The ones that scientist trying to make is learning AI & not directive AI.
