batu pahat(johor) carrefour branch, they removed ALL the hamsters there.. no animal left.. good la, at least tis kinda ulu place oso they make changes..

ya, went back during cny hols.. n c dun have animals in carrefour dy..

it's OK for carrefour to sell pet's accesories... sometimes we would need it in urgency times which it helps but not animal... de ppl there is just killing it...

glad carrefour had taken the steps to take out all the animal put up for sale...

Bad news guys. CARREFOUR Ampang selling live pet today. I only notice it when shopping this evening. Poor little fella(syrian hamster) cramp in tight space. This really need to stop.

Ps- At this moment they're selling syrian, some rc, normal hamster and a few rabbit.

there's one in sri petaling...rabbits all cramped up in one corner..i guess they felt insecure and threatened with all the ppl going over taking photo with the lights flashing at them, not forgetting the hypermarket's lightings itself

Well... Im not supprise with what happend in few Carefours as mentioned becoz their staff are not well train or dont have any knowlege of pets. For so long they are selling other things not pets... But they should place some1 who have knowledge about pets to run the Pet's Corner at lease

BUT... how about those people who are running the PETSHOPS & AQUARIUM SHOPS its self ??? Dont be supprise if many of them have ZERO knowledge about pets that their selling!!! They also didnt give proper care to the pets ! Just care about UNTUNG !!!
This bunch of idiots also give out wrong infomations to their costumers !!!!!

Example, like Star Tortoise. Last time we can see almost every petshops or aquarium shops got sell ST, but do they give their costumer right infomations about how take care of it ??? what should & shouldnt feed for your ST ??? Most of them dont even know the proper care of ST !!! They just mentioned that ST is very easy pet to have... can CINCAI feed & care... They never mention to their costumers about basking lamp, UVB light & etc. What they know is only UNTUNG ... When they say its an easy pet, so costumers will attracted to buy !!! Damm ... Can you see how bad they are ??? I do believe its not just happend to tortoise. Its happend to almost every pets !

Worst things happend to me few years ago, the seller dont even know what Species or what Type of dog that they are selling .... Can u see? Then how they gonna tell their costumer about care & etc ??? Also can CINCAI care ??? The worst, the seller feed those dogs with raw Chiken's Head !!!

What we should do ???
Are we just sit down & see ? Let them lah... Mind your own business lor... Dont be so KEPOH mah...

Anyway i suggest from now & onwards we all Pet Lovers should carry a camera with us when everytime we go out ( Digicam or Handphonecam ). When we see any shop or anyone got do some cruel & funny things to animals, we take pets & the shop's pictures, then post it here. Then we all decide what to do, make a report or boikot the shops or etc.

Seriously nowdays HUMAN are more animals than Animal its self... I think our goverment should issue a special law for this people who just know about UNTUNG without give proper care for what they are selling !!! BUT goverment need make sure every complains will take actions if not, then no point having such of law
