QUOTE(Hyde`fK @ Aug 1 2007, 07:30 PM) As for Extreme Cooling Category, beside dry ice is provided, how about others insulation materials? Liquid electrical tape, dielectrical greaser, degreaser, insulation foam etc. I assume we have to bring out own pot as well right? Most probably, you'll hafta bring your own. Liquid electrical tape? or u meant brush-on electrical tape. Another alternative is using nail varnish. Dun think you'll need degreaser. But a bottle of varnish remover will be helpful. Insulation, you'll need neoprene, foam tape and cork tape. |

QUOTE(Hyde`fK @ Aug 1 2007, 08:14 PM) Yea, but wanna know if those stuff are provided or not. I always use nail varnish...coz lacquer very troublesome and brush-on electrical tape hard to come by here. on the socket, dielectric grease or silicon grease is a must as u dun want condensation on the under side of the CPU unless you can make sure its 100% air-tight.Asked arj, the surrounding can use nail polisher, as that's the only alternative me and tAmp0i have since we can get any dielectric greaser here, and KLIA rejected our package to be delivered from KL to Miri. The thing is arj mentioned the CPU socket have to use dielectric grease, is that a must? Sorry, this shouldn't be a discussion thread. |

Not only Team Indo, all others from the Asus compy should be here too.
I've got to find a replacement for my Anabond. might not be good for DI. |
