HELP !! Cannot get internet from LAN
Bought Tenda Nova MW3 mesh wifi to replace the Unifi router. No problem with wifi but no internet for LAN port due to "ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration"
Unifi 30mbps Modem - (LAN/WAN) Tenda Nova MW3 Mesh - (LAN) - Tenda Gigabyte 5 port switch - (LAN) -CCTV, TV BOX,LAPTOP
Any setting tips to solve this ? I need multiple LAN connection

I need multiple LAN connection Check the interface's subnet first. The problem normally occurs if you use the static IP address for some of the devices... No issue with devices that uses a dynamic IP address (in this case, WIFI devices since it is rare for the user to use the static IP address on their smartphones when connecting wirelessly, for example). Different routers may use different subnets. For example, DLINK uses 192.168.0.x, ASUS uses 192.168.1.x, etc. Check your router's manual which subnets it uses. You can change this on the router-side or on the device-side...just make sure all devices and the router(s) use the same subnet. In your case, check your laptop's IP address matches the subnet used by your router if it is configured with a static IP address. This post has been edited by eclectice: Jun 7 2020, 08:10 AM

There is a IP setting in tenda app, i hv tried 192. 168.1.x but failed. But with the original router i can connect to LAN, with this MW3 no internet from LAN

Solved!
Contact Tenda Malaysia FB and redirected to technician.
Turn off the "IPTV" in the Tenda Apps. Done!
My setup using MW3 to replace existing router Unifi 30mbps Unifi modem - LAN/WAN- MW3 - LAN - tenda 5 port switch (port5) then other ports used for tv box, LAN to another mw3, laptop, cctv
PPPOE mode (user@unifi n password from tm) IPTV off LAN setting 192.168.1. 1
Hope this can help future MW3 user.

Getting Started

|
MW3 has no web configuration page. Can ping and get reply from router if plug network cable directly to LAN port but nothing load to web config page.
Default IP either 192.168.5.1 or 192.168.6.1
All to be configured using mobile app ONLY. Just leaving this here for those who are looking for this info.

just bought a pair of mw3 from taobao, but it seems can't use it to connect to unifi. if configured as dhcp router and it works.
any sifu here can advise? the PPPoE setting only allow key in username and password, MTU default as 1480.
