Details of the complaint :

1. I PMed Alex Ang Jia Xeng on Monday, 01 June 2020 to request pictures of Apple Watch to be sent to my WhatsApp and he replied within 15 minutes with the pictures. Upon negotiation, we agreed the price of RM820 including postage.

2. I made the transfer to his Maybank Account 107433027554 and he promised to deliver on Tuesday, 02 June afternoon.

3. Alex Ang messaged me the next day at 10:28AM and mentioned he could not find the Apple Watch box and will post next day, 03 June.

4. I WhatsApp him on Wednesday, 03 June 7:12AM to say I need the watch by Friday, 05 June as I will be out from home thereafter - he acknowledged.

5. He found the box on 03 June 8:37PM - he promised to deliver by Thursday, 04 June afternoon.

6. He WhatsApp me on 04 June 3:14PM and mentioned the parcel cannot arrive in 1 day and offered to refund - I replied him at 3:16PM and he mentioned he left to office - he said I replied him late [by 2 minutes], hence he couldn't wait.

7. I told him to just go ahead to send the watch and followed up again at 6:37PM - he only replied at 9:09PM saying he just got home and offered to refund - I told him to go ahead with posting the watch again.

8. I followed up again on Friday, 05 June at 10:39AM and he replied at 1:33PM saying he will go to courier office at 5PM.

9. I followed up at 8:49PM - no reply. Sent another message today, Saturday 06 June 9:29AM and told him I will raise a dispute if i did not receive his reply by 12PM.

10. He replied at 10:01AM asking for my account number - i replied with my banking details and followed up if he had banked in at 6:28PM.

11. He did not reply till 8:35PM - chat transcript as below ;

Alex Ang : "Hi, I can't say anything now. But I will refund you back on Monday."
Me : What do you mean refund Monday? You refund me now or I will report you to police."
Alex Ang : I can't stop if you want to do that. As I said I will refund back on Monday."
Me : It's my money and you're taking control. You also took money from another forumer and he hasn't received the transer yet. How can you guarantee you will not do the same for my case?"
Alex Ang : Whatever I say now it's useles. I only can said I will refund back Monday".


I received a WhatsApp message yesterday, Friday 05 June from another forumer asking If I dealt with Alex Ang for Apple Watch - he banked for the same Apple Watch on Tuesday, 02 June and warned that we got scammed. He has not received his money yet as of Saturday, 06 June 3:44PM.

I have been in LYN Forum since 2003 and I've made numerous successful transactions here and I'd been very careful with who I buy from and whom I sell to.

Alex Ang has been with here since 2005 and he seemed genuine - which is why I trusted him and made the deal.

I hope Alex Ang will honor his word and return my RM820 by Monday, 08 June.

Ramzy, I am the 3rd person cheated by this guy. I paid him for the ipad pro 12.9 2015. Until now no reply from him.

I also kena and paid rm620 gone

He hasn't blocked me and I still have hope he will return our money on Monday, 08 June.

In case if he did not, please print this page together with your banking transaction slip and include them in your police report.

I banked in to him on 4th jun 2020
Ive also tried practising safe trade
Ive done a little research on him and found nothing suspicious
Also his past trade seems fine
Not sure if he decided to turn scammer due to mco perhaps🤣
Anyway lets try getting some info about him
And im gonna make police reports too if its really turns to scam
Lets hope alexang return our money back
Or anyone nearby can start a man hunt maybe😜

just saw this post today, seems like I'm also another victim of this guy.
Bought iPad Pro from him and he MIA since then. will proceed with police report.

RM620+RM1420+RM600+RM820=RM3460

So far the known amount is RM3460, could be tip of iceberg.
