Hello everyone. I have bunions on both feet (big toes).
Does anyone have the experience undergoing surgery? If yes, how much does it cost and how long is the recovery process?
If not, does anyone have any idea how to relieve the pain when you perform exercise with shoes on, e.g., running, hiking?

Hi there. I am not very familiar with bunions unfortunately but i'll try to help as much as possible. Things that you can try without surgery:
1. Change your shoes. Wear a wider shoes (especially with wider toe box) and the one with "zero drop". 2. You can try some kind of padding/ toe separator.. something like that (sorry not familiar with this) which i think u can get in a pharmacy. 3. You can temporarily ease the pain with ice or paracetamol whenever u felt pain.
If conservative measures doesnt work, you might need to see a specialist, probably an orthopedic surgeon. Not sure about the surgery details.

I think you have to wear a slight bigger shoes or sandal. Dont give too much pressure to it.
