When you fill in job application form, are you 100% honest especially when it comes to questions that when you put NO, they have no way to confirm? Like medical questions?

Like the below

Have you suffered from any medical condition which has affected (or might in future affect) your work?

Have you ever been hospitalised, had any surgeries/procedures or consulted a specialist physician for any medical reason?

Have you suffered any ill health requiring certification or medication within the last 24 months? (come on... everybody has the typical cold before...)

Others may vary, but on health matters better to be honest as some companies have the right to void employment.

Must be honest. Let then take you with pre-existing conditions. Some company do accept advance declaration, so they can adjust insurance policy paid for your for higher premium to cover your goodself.

Even for those where you declare, most companies now expect some form of pre-employment checkup.

For example, O&G, even those not working on rigs but regular desk job also needs to go do thorough checkup at their preferred clinic...

Yes, always be honest. Otherwise when the truth is revealed it can end up harming you even more than if you were upfront about it

To those who revert that Intel / Broadcom salary is not high as per the market claimed, those merely trying to 'comfort' everyone around.

To get an estimate Intel / Broadcom annual range lies at, just ask them for their base salary * ~2.1
Example: If they claimed that their base salary ~$100K annually, mean they are getting total $210K in total, which lead to $110K of bonuses, RSU, allowance.

(This is legit)

Just want to add, if you apply for some china man companies. I give a hint, one is an automobile co and another one is a conglomerate with motorcycle, banking biz....hint: Starts with a H.

they even want to know the name and IC of your siblings and their wives, and where they work !!!! and your wife and children too !!!!

they even make you sign off your rights to have private investigator companies to check your background, to check your loans, litigation, when was your last road tax payment even have !!!!!

these companies will also personally call your past companies and call your previous superior.

Scary !!!!
