Shanghai and the Wynn shot very nice..i passed thru the Wynn also didn't shoot..lol

actually in-cam, i fine-tune the exposure to +4/6 leh...

Great shots! pictures that involves bright sky seems underexposed by 1/3 stop to me. 1st picture contrast very kau Seems like someone did his homework and fully optimized the in camera settings

As far as i am cocerned, 4/6 overexpose some pix occasionally....i'm using 3/6 hey, you seem to have the wide angle covered well, i have all the tele stuff.....if we go jalan jalan, it'd be a great combo lol

Yes... wished i could linger around to maybe get somemore shots and maybe a few HDRs, but the weather really... hot... gf cannot stand.. i also cannot tahan actually... hehe

the sky not that clear actually... especially the moving clouds with ugly reflected light from the buildings combined with slow shutter speed (makes it look like streaks of haze which is also looks like lens smudge). Which is why post-processing is important to me...!

please continue your series yah!!! i like them as they are of different perspective...

hmm.. not really fully "optimized" la... using "normal" jpeg profile.. never customize all those color mode III, tone compensation, sharpening all that... i leave that to PS

maybe i should try 3/6, after all better to introduce a little noise than blown highlights..

lol.. but wait... you got 70-200mm f/2.8 for me to play?

Yeah go HDR with ur tokina....that'd be my only reason to get that lens

3/6 is slightly below overexposure threshore, and i dun need to always adjust exposure compensation, save time mar

Try my settings in a new bank:

Image sharpening: Moderate high
Saturation: moderate
Hue: -3 degee (gives skin tone a more pinkish tone, I hate greenish cast )
Custom tone curve: (inject it to your camera with camera control pro. My curve adds shadow detail but retain highlights *check pm*)
Color mode: srgb (lazy to PP hehehe)

No lar, 80-200 f2.8 got lar. Not a big fan of VR, I always shoot at 1/FL + monopod if neccessary

Very nice shots on Shanghai night scapes..I really like to shoot different countries night landscape if given chance.

But #3 the WB lari i feel

but it really was that red woh!

yah... not too good in some dim conditions (AWB on HK nightline came out really warm) and hazy/cloudy conditions. but i thought d200 already had better AWB?

that is spooky feel...coz the whole photo only he is blurred...second pic de blur is diff...that blur very nice...shows that the place is very busy and chaos...

I like the first photo, the Bund. The composition is nice with the sky not totally black out.

yup, you're right... lots of dust on my sensor... and realized only later...

Barrel distortion in picture #20. The tower is leaning to the right side. Should move the horizon slightly lower with less sea.

you guys sure are observant...

I think by now my picture taking skills getting more & more rustier... haven't picked up my DSLR in months!

Couldn't think of any other way to snap the opera house (unless senget style? )... and unfortunately didn't get very close to the opera house at all

There were fireworks near the opera house at night, but so unexpected and didn't have a tripod handy... all shots were quite blur... wasted!
