I've got a lot more of old isekai i love
but they're noticably old drawing anime that's nobody would care

almost all anime have heart wrecking scene
coupled with sad ost, even funny anime gintama also can do it
but if you want constantly heart wrecking depressing anime:

fafner in azure (it feels like nge neon genesis evangelion hopelessness with gundam seed arts)

ah yes zero no tsukaima. forgot to write that have seen it too. i havent seen season 4 yet.
