It follow the subscribed plan. If subs to 6 Mbps, then hotspot also 6 Mbps.

Nothing interesting anymore with their Unlimited plans now.

Their Unlimited data, hotpot (3,6,18Mbps)and local calls, High speeds from 2am-2pm is very misleading.

Unlimited Hotspot is blatantly lying. You can't place it into a modem which they argue with you that it must be inside one of their compatible phones. What difference does it make whether it's inside a modem or a phone when you say it's unlimited hotspot with a hidden FUP of 50GB?

Who was the marketing person inside Maxis who approved this idea?

No speedcut but once you put into the modem, you will find very weird things with your connection like very unstable connection speed goes up and down, deprioritized packets and ports getting blocked like Whatsapp cannot upload files because the ports are blocked.

Placed it back into a supported 4G phone and all the problem resolved connection smooth like silk, no more port blocks and no more disconnections putus2.

Then you know your modem is unsupported.

Any method to overcome this matter ?
