I've encountered hitting the FUP. to be honest its not as disastrous or terrible as one thing. Still able browse smoothly. YT can still watch at 360 or 240p.

But if FUP still haunts you, Tunetalk has a higher FUP at 100gb , but once hit 101gb the FUP will throttle to 64kbps (Vs Hotlink's 512K) until another 10Gb then only totally stop.
And it cost RM 45.

RM35 for 3mbps..
RM45 for 6mbps..

Can I check how many GB I have used on HUP35/45 plan?
I'm not using this plan now, but considering switching to this plan after my contract ended on this month.

Can you tell how did you know you had used over 50GB? Does it show on the Hotlink app or USSD code?

lately this hotlink been pretty slow even before reach 50gb,.. epsecially peak hour, looks like it is start to get congested in my area

Wondering the same thing too. It hotlink app only shows unlimited quota instead of consumed data

Sadly no. For some unknown reason, their app does not show whats the current Unlimited data usage, unlike Yoodo which shows out current usage.
Dont have early warning either that the user is almost reaching FUP.
Maybe...they want to show its "its unlimited, dont need to worry so much".

No choice, if you really want to monitor, have to use your own built in Data usage counter, to monitor - though its not 100% accurate, but close enough.

Yesterday I just bought new simcard to test my area network. At first seems pretty ok with the unlimited qouta on hotspot as i using the the simcard put in the router...when openinh my pc i opened the youtube gmail and yahoo is quite ok...i bought the rm45, unlimited qouta, speed cap 6mbps...lately the speed reaching more than 10. I can browse youtube/netflix at full hd without buffer

But when opening some social media, it loads for too long like twitter

Yes. 3mbps good enough for both YT and Facebook video. Don't need to be greedy. Even lowest red at 240p on a handphone is watchable.
No point taking 6mbps , cause (depending on area) later at night your 6mbps becomes 1mbps or worse, when its MCO time now,

then you will cry or swear.

got unifi at office and at home. Just sometime lepak mamak watch youtube...currently using unifi mobile

Lately I'm having trouble loading content using apps. Fb, ig, YT, even hotlink app would fail to load or took very long time. But surfing website no problem. Wonder if its my phone or data problem.
