Actually no need to pay that RM5. Becoz the Starter Pack edy has RM5 credit in it. So, after activated the Starter SIM pack, immediately upgrade to HUP. The credit balance is Zero after upgrade obviously.

As for me, I see it as RM10 nett investment to get HUP... BTW, that RM5 is only valid for 5 days. After 5 days, it is frozen until we top-up...

Manually. We can upgrade on the 5th day if we wish... and the FREE 1GB MCO quota is there as well for us to enjoy...there is also FREE 10GB FaceBook quota in the Starter Pack... so, don't upgrade immediately if we use FaceBook alot...

I don't have FB, IG, bla-nla-bla...I'm anti-social person as others interpret...LOL...

I think that option is their SECOND WAVE... if the other telco do like HUP plus 1-year validity add-on, they will launch the SECOND WAVE...

I see this HUP like Tsunami/COVID....LOL....the 1st wave has been deployed... awaiting for 2nd Wave which should be greater than the earlier one...

My credit balance is zero. Free 1GB high-speed MCO quota ended (ie 8am - 6pm daily). Comes the 64kbps basic to "complement". Have not subscribed to RM35 pass yet.



So far so good... Digging further for other "hidden" agendas...

Possible... but I'm not fully committed to HUP yet... still in testing phase..by the time the "actual" SIM arrived, I edy ditch this dummy SIM card and MNP to the actual SIM (as how you have put it...). I'm not in urgency to MNP...

Just be cautious about the WORDS coming out from those Sales Execs (SE). If we ask the same question to five (5) different SEs at five (5) different Centres, don't be surprised to get different answers from each one of them... these SEs are mostly part-timer and don't care about us because by the time we chase them, they edy gone... so, try to speak to the permanent SE or if possible the Head of their Team...

I like how DiGi Service Centre handle their customers. The 1st person greeted us is the Senior Supervisor and he/she will try to understand our enquiry. Later he/she will divert our enquiry by giving respective queue numbers... The same goes to "SOME" Maybank Centre... Shout out to Maybank AEON Mall Shah Alam for having a well organised customer support...

I will only test the HUP35 after touching the 1st day of 50-day grace period. Once in Grace Period, I'll topup RM35 and subscribe to HUP35. If HUP35 goes well, will test HUP45 pulak... then only fully MNP from UMobile to HUP45...

As of first 10 hours impression, coverage and line stability (4G and 4G+ constantly...) is up to my expectations... cannot comment on speed yet becoz still using the FREE daily 1GB MCO quota... The MCO quota is same speed as other high-speed Maxis/Hotlink "flagships" speed...becoz that 1GB high-speed quota is sponsored by Makcik Kiah...LOL...

Actually, we just Top-up RM30 to get RM5 in the account... so, monthly nett commitment is RM30 for HUP35... summore no GST leeyyy....
