I've hacked the floor and applied Sika 107 waterproofing with 3 coats with cement render smooth finish.

Decided to go for cement render, if the future leaking can directly apply on top of that.

I did the survey, Penten brand is so-so for waterproofing more to the end users.

For waterproofing, I would go for Sika, Mapei, Xypex and Bostik which usually using on highrise projects.

I recently bought a subsale house which about 8 yrs old. Now the roof top is leaking and caused the ceiling koyak already. my contractor quote me 15k to hack the cement at roof top, 3 layer water proofing and put back cement and add 1 more layer water proof on surface. Is it expensive or the price reasonable?

Also the master room balcony and 1 of the bed room balcony also got leaking issue. He also recommended to redo the whole thing by remove the tiles and do water proof then install back the tiles. Both job he quoted me another 13K.

Total damage bout RM 29K jus for water proofing.
