QUOTE(Snoy @ Jan 4 2021, 11:47 AM) The waterproof works should be done before laying tiles. Any coatings on top of tiles are prone to fade off. "Sika" is a good brand for waterproofing materials, go for it. But the contractor ask me to buy blue color pentens This post has been edited by sonicmaster: Jan 4 2021, 02:59 PM

QUOTE(Snoy @ Jan 5 2021, 11:27 AM) Pentens waterproof is just a paint. It works but won't last long. Awning will work but costly. Alternatively, if you are sure tiles floor is the culprit, try to re-grout with waterproof grout. Lastly, the cheapest solution is to apply waterproof grout sealer but this won't last long... Then which one better? If below is not good This post has been edited by sonicmaster: Jan 5 2021, 12:26 PM

QUOTE(cdspins @ Jan 11 2021, 11:55 AM) It all comes down to cost. You can request to do whole toilet waterproof but it will not be cheap. Usually just water proof the bottom part, and also 1 tile above the floor should be enough. My contractor suggest 3 feet if back whole toilet. Ya one tile if below
