Photos are condition of the unit below after 3 months. The specialist send by management say need hack wall to check isit piping issue or not but my specialist said confirm not piping issue but is my tiles waterproofing failing.

He suggest doing water grouting rather than spending tons of money to hack tiles to redo waterproofing for a newly owned house.

He giving one year guarantee on the water grouting.

Is water grouting gonna solve this issue?

What’s above? What room? The floor get wet due to rain splash in?

And the curtain there , means it is window?

I would suspect the window unit above and below first for any leaks through the window frame.

No point waterproofing non bathroom area. For non bathroom area just make sure the floor is not wet. Moping is ok as the water dries fast

Need suggestion does those Shoppe Grout/Tile seal able to work?
My another bathroom, contractor fix with 1.3K, which they also told me using kind of coating.

So I thinking any DIY solutions? I dont mind do it slowly as having 2nd bathroom and stop using master bathroom for a while.

diy?

seal the floor trap with plasticin. buy the solution on your own and flood the floor with it. something like pye waterpruf sealer is cheap. let it sit for a day and drain any excess solution. then let it dry on its own. total time from start to dry will take a few days. and it will smell quite strong. so make sure the door can be closed to lessen the smell spread to other area.

total cost of all the materials should be less than rm 150.

Thanks, I'll give a try
you using how many bottle for your bathroom (size?)
*
my case is leak of unknown point. so i use a paint brush to paint thin layer on the floor and a few feet of the wall.

bathroom size about 2meter X 4meter...... use about 1 litre.

your case is quite clearly the floor with emphasis on the edge between floor and wall.....common place where technique of applying waterproof cement fails.

Received the item.
According to instruction, its shall apply several coat in wet and dont leave too long between each coating.

Any issue if I leave a thick coat for a day? then drain the access? Will be become a thick layer on top that hard to remove?
*
I think the don’t leave too long between each coating idea is to keep the surface wet with the solution so the surface can absorb as much as it can.

From my experience it takes a very long time to dry....

It actually doesn’t dry, it gets absorbed into the surface. I don’t experience any film or layer of material on top after the surface doesn’t feel wet or slippery.

Well, your floor, method of application is up to you. If my experience is true then it probably means the method of application is very forgiving.

Maybe drain excess not more than a few hours....perhaps leaving for a day is too excessive haha.

Just bought a new house. There's a floor roof with a room one-level below. What's a good waterproofing method since I'll be converting that floor roof into a balcony?
*
if there are tiles on the floor of the balcony......then cementitious waterproofing method is the choice. need to ensure proper slope for water runoff and drainage of the water
