Guys, I have a couple of questions to ask. I'm planning to get a Xiaomi sound bar, initially was thinking of getting Redmi one but Redmi soundbar doesn't has optical input. I'm using Samsung 55" UA55H6300 TV.
1. If I were to hook up Xiaomi sound bar, will the TV internal speaker still works? 2. Can I use TV remote to control the volume of the sound bar since Xiaomi sound bar doesn't comes with wireless remote control?
Thank you

Thanks for everyone's advice and suggestions. Reason why I'm thinking of getting a sound bar is that my old Samsung TV internal speaker woofer has slightly broken and literally I just want to get a speaker that serves the purpose of projecting the sound out, that's it. Furthermore, I seldom listen to music and stuffs, so I'm not planning to invest much on this.

QUOTE(yeh_chiam @ Sep 29 2020, 04:46 PM) If you want budget, just get the xiaomi sound bar, but no HDMI connection, means you can't use your TV remote to control the volume, you need to get up from your sofa, walk to the sound bar and change the volume, not sure if this is the same case if you connect via bluetooth to your TV. If not go shoppe look for sound bar that have HDMI ARC, then you can use your TV remote to control the volume. Thanks bro, appreciate your kind words~
