I've recently upgraded my pc and am now looking to upgrade my monitor as well. I'm primarily using it for gaming/VR and the occasional work where I need 2 monitors for easier workflow. I'm currently using 2 x 21.5" AOC 2270SWDN hand-me-down monitors so this will be a huge upgrade. Specs: AMD Ryzen 3900x Asus X570 Aorus Elite Wifi Asus 2070 Super EVO OC I'm looking for 27"-34" desk/wall mounted monitor with a height limit of 45cm due to a shelf above my table. My desk is quite deep as well and I'm finding myself hunching over the table just to get a better view of my monitors. I don't know if I want to go for curved/ultrawide or not, looking for opinions on that Budget around +-RM2000 27" 2560x1440AOC CQ27G2 ASUS VG27AQ LG 27GL850-B GIGABYTE AORUS AD27QD 31.5" 2560x1440LG 32GK650F / LG 32GK650F-B ASUS TUF GAMING VG32VQ ASUS XG32VQ ACER Z321QU LG 32GK850G-B <-- kind of over budget 34" 2560x1080 ultrawideLG 34UC79G-B LG 34GL750-B Are there any other models that you recommend?

Either the 27GL850 or the 32GK650F - these two are considered one of the best monitors you can get for your budget The VG27AQ and the CQ27G2 are decent alternatives too (if you don't mind the curved panel of the latter)

QUOTE(Lurker @ May 27 2020, 04:26 PM) Acer Nitro XV340CKP also ~ RM2k Thank you for the suggestion! This model totally skipped my radar because it wasn't listed on Acer's website! After much deliberation looks like I'll be getting this monitor due to the size/$$ ratio besides my desk is quite deep so a larger screen will be beneficial. Your suggestions played a factor in my 27" and 32" choice! Both the models you suggested were my final choices but as the price is about the same as the 34" Lurker suggested, I opted for it instead. It being a flat ultrawide is a bonus as some people experience difficulties adapting to a curved monitor while using a flat monitor at work. As I will be using it for occasional work as well, this is bonus point for me. Thank you both!
