Have you heard about Gallium nitride? It is a semiconductor material that rose to prominence in the 1990s through the manufacture of LEDs. The compound is a very hard material that has a Wurtzite crystal structure (crystal structure for various binary compounds). With this material, chargers are not only more efficient at transferring current, but this also means less energy is lost to heat. Now onward to why you opened this thread.. biggrin.gif

Let UGREEN all-in-one 4-Port 65W GaN fast charger solve all your worries.
UGREEN launches a new, compact, multi-USB 65W GaN charger via Indiegogo

Essential for Travel/Office/Home Usage
A single charger to solve a typical hassle.
No need to bring multiple charging adapters when traveling;
Its significantly smaller size ensures no worries about the large size of traditional multi-port chargers, which is not convenient for carrying.
Work easier & instantly get rid of power cords. Your tabletop and or charging station will look clean & tidy.
Designed for your ideal life, have a good time with your family. Long gone are the family disputes about who gets to charge their device first.

Yep, and it comes with an 18-month international warranty. Even the replacement shipping fee is covered.. biggrin.gif

Also for those who might be wondering which fast charging protocols does the UGREEN 65W GaN Fast Charger support? Here you go.....
Power Delivery 3.0/ 2.0 (PD 3.0/ 2.0); Quick Charge 4+/ 4.0/ 3.0/ 2.0 (QC 4+/ 4.0/ 3.0/ 2.0); Samsung Adaptive Fast Charge (AFC); Huawei Fast Charge Protocol (FCP), SuperCharge Protocol (SCP), Huawei Super Fast Charge Protocol (SFCP), MediaTek Pump Express 2.0/ 1.1 (PE 2.0/ 1.1), and Battery Charging Specification 1.2 (BC1.2). Other fast charging protocols like OPPO VOOC and OnePlus Dash/Warp Charge are not supported; however, UGREEN can still charge these devices normally.

Options are always good... A little bird told me these will be available on local online online shopping platforms in about a month. Guess it'll boil down to one's preference. Baseus & UGREEN, IMO makes solid products. Xiaomi does too (especially phones....Data privacy concerns not withstanding sweat.gif ), but then, there's also the fact that they allow the Mi branding to be used by third party manufacturers. IIRC.

I did an initial search in the general section and it didn't pull up any specifics.. Just now searched deeper and found what I'm guessing is the thread you speak of. Since it's already up, guess i'll leave it to the mods to move it if it's more appropriate elsewhere. notworthy.gif

i'm using LVSun chargers, they're pretty good ALL-VOLTAGE output.
You can use their provided USB-to-adapter cable and fit it with the relevant charging head and it can power almost any notebook.
I got their 87W 4A+1C and it has held up well for 2 years.
I got another 87W 2A+2C for about 40% less, the tech has become cheaper.

This IMO as a consumer should always be the goal. Better stuff at cheaper pricing. Unlike phone launches lately.. Insane pricing for some. Don't get me wrong, I get the whole concept of early adopters paying an ultra-premium price for being "first" to experience certain tech. But once said tech becomes mainstream, I expect the economies of scale laws to kick in...Forcing pricing significantly lower as more people adopt more efficient tech.

Hi... Prices and Indiegogo page url was included in the OP. Nevertheless, here are rough conversion rates for the chargers.
*Single Type-C (Early Bird Offer) Port is selling for $19 or RM83.
*Three Type-C + 1 Type-A (Special Offer) is selling for $37 or RM161.

There are other combos as perks up for grab. For instance, want two of those above? You'll only pay about RM196 instead of RM244 if bought independently. In all cases, free shipping included. Hurry though as there are already 513 backers and the campaign is at 97% of it's RM86,950 flexible goal (as of writing).

Hi... Is this the info you seek?

GaN high frequency power controller: SC1936 from PI, built in Gallium Nitride Metal Oxide Semiconductor, improves the efficiency, consume less power, integrates with power control circuit, clean and tidy; De-rating design, secure and reliable;

If it isn't let me know and I'll ask Ugreen directly & report back.

Hey... My bad... Forgot to reply your question. Probably didn't get a notification.. Thing is, while I haven't experienced the Baseus GaN charger myself.. I think since both share the same max output and are similarly priced around RM10x. Physical specs alone sees Baseus losing with its 3 ports versus 4 ports on UGREEN's. So yeah I'd go with UGREEN. More so as I've had the pleasure or reviewing it myself. Hope you or others in the market for such find it satisfactory for your needs. notworthy.gif
