I purchased my from TaoBao too on year 2013. The price i save compare to local is huge different. Quality wise hard to compare.
As at now, the color fade a bit compare to original, tiny part which keep under hot sun wrinkled a bit, but overall not noticeable.

For the price and years of usage consider ok for me. Not sure those local branded which quote me few k can last for how long?

Initially most of the condo management have this rules. End up I still see people install it. biggrin.gif

Look for higher heat rejection. Before you decide the darkness. Please don't forget, the dark level will fade from time to time, is just the matter of time. Higher quality will last longer compare to lower. Same as our car tint.

Myself choose dark tea color, when new is just nice. Same like you, don't want too dark later whole house like haunted. After 10 year, feel like not dark enough.

Yup. More than 10 years. You will notice if you pass by certain condo, have a look. biggrin.gif

Depends on your need. Reflective type, when night it become mirror if not mistaken. But higher heat rejection.

My unit also have 1 room facing evening sun. So end up that room tint fade faster than others.

Now I just use blackout curtain. Lazy to redo the tint as already install grille.

Do agree cheaper one will fade faster. The word 'Fast' is quite subjective + the environment condition counted in as well.

Never tried premium quality, so can't compare.
