Facebook speed is being throttled to 1.5mbps (190KB/s) at 8pm~12am.
I believe all Maxis plans, excluding fibre plan, are getting throttled during night time for YouTube, Facebook, & Google apps updating, although speed testing or Filehippo download could get high speed at 30~50mbps.
Tested on One Go Wifi, & One 188 plans.

What is the speed and how long is the contract ?

Planning to jump from digi unlimited 150 to this, both coverage are ok2 only in my area. Average at 30-40Mbps
will be a main internet connection for my house as I dont have fibre coverage.
Main use is for Netflix, YT, Gaming(sometimes),Downloads

Yeap. Tried 4K video on my new Samsung TV. Buffering.... around 11pm 🤦 but Netflix able to playback 4K Netflix @ 7.62mbps for 2160P/4K

Ask those using also keep complaint non stop..
When many report.. then they might take some action...
Or says u want terminate if no positive results... Give them some time frame...

Like vignaroli said, probably it’s cause your modem only supports 4G network.

No problem on Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre. Mobile plan is on Maxis Postpaid 128 plan. Fast.com speedtest result showed 20Mbps. YouTube streaming is very smooth at 1080p.

mine is fibre + 98 postpaid...my postpaid plan still capped for youtube 8pm-12am eventhough i never exceed 300gb fup.....coz at home i still can connect to fibre, but my shareline rm48 plan which use at my hometown by my parent suffer from this throttling, they mostly stream youtube for those oldies song and i really wonder why maxis can come out with such throttling seriously 480p oso will experience lagging man. i was not happy with it and try to complain to maxis customer service several time but they only create case-id, told me that it was unexpected technical down or network congestion during the MCO period. i cannot accept this excuse because maxis actually come out with hotlink unlimited plan which if they know their network congested should never introduce some plan like anymore.

i try google search for any news or facebook post that maxis user actually got make noise on Maxis or not but seems like other user can tolerate with Maxis suck throttling policy....haiz....doubtful on how they able to get the no 1 ISP in Malaysia

Today i can stream YouTube 720p max...1080p still buffering....at least 720p is acceptable clear resolution....not sure is this relevant to my mcmc complaint coz before even 480p oso keep buffering for youtube 8pm onwards

Can we insert the Maxis Onego simcard in our smartphone to surf internet when I'm outdoor, let say in a shopping centre ?

Thanks for sharing on how to connect to mobile data. It's straight forward. I have read somewhere, you need to change the network settings on your phone.

No worries about the SIM card size. Most HUAWEI 4G modem is using microSIM size.
