All the sellers labels it 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD. That SSD looks like Kingston A1000 which is NVMe SSD. By looking at the controller, its Phison PS5008-E8-10. Everything points at NVMe.

Get Transcend MTE220S or Adata XPG SX8200 Pro for an upgrade. The SSD you are trying to buy is crap.
