changing the camdriver will void the phone warranty? no?

It's more of a hardware limitation, so changing the driver will most likely give you minor improvements only

Yes, any modifications to the phone will void the warranty Original sets should be okay I think... Last time when I killed my MDM set Motorola phone by flashing, they still fixed it for me by changing a whole new motherboard

First, you need to put the camera driver into the "files_to_upload" folder located in XS++ directory with this structure "/ifs/settings/camera/camdriver0.dat". Then, just use FSX to upload the files

Added on July 30, 2007, 10:11 pmOr just use the "w800_r1bc002_move_drivers_to_other.vkp" patch, this way you can easily change the driver without going through XS++.

if ur so worried doom,why dont you get w810 ? i think it is on par with older k750i if not better,but i believe changing camdriver does bring improvement.I suggest you check out the supercamdriver thread at esato forum.Most of the pics posted there are from k750i cid 49 and they looked awesome.

As i said earlier,i have a W610 and under utilizing it. I feel guilty . So,i just want something that is reasonable for money . I dont think i need 2 Walkman series phone. I have doubt bout the joystick but since Dreamworks says "Treat it nice and it will last" i guess it will be ok for me
