MacOS X Applications cannot execute, after update?

It helps if your provide more info of your system. Like whether you are running Intel Mac, or Power PC?

For example, if you are on Intel, you shouldn't have Rosetta set as default to open Firefox. Firefox is already Universal whereas Photoshop CS2 and Office would need Rosetta. So my guess is there's something wrong with your Rosetta.

Could try to "Rebuild Prebindings" and reboot. You can do that with either Onyx or Tiger Cache Cleaner. Worth a try I guess.

 

Change to:
