Yep. By modding your cam driver you will get better quality of photos taken. Using k550i's default driver now, better than w610i's default driver. Less yellow-ish.

and ya now my current software for the camera is 2.3 so if i flesh it to the 1 provided in here will the pic quality be better??

i heard from jssim that our firmware cannot backdate if not the mainboard will fry is it true??

The camdriver0 I uploaded is in .txt format. You have to save it in .dat extension manually. By naming it as 'camdriver0.dat' when you're saving the file. You can also manually 'modify' the camdriver0.dat by opening it with notepad and edit(If you know how to.).

Hmm.. you try the following steps:-

The steps below are for Windows XP only. If you're on Windows Vista, do something similar to this. I do not have Vista, couldn't help with Vista users, sorry.
1. My Computers
2. Tools
3. Folders Option
4. View
5. Untick 'Hide extension for known file types'

And recheck your camdriver0 file. Is it camdriver0.txt.dat or it is camdriver0.dat? If it's camdriver0.dat, no need care about the 'icon' so much. Won't affect anything.

i on the flightmode but after upgrade the software edi during start up the 'to select the flight mode' is gone edi
so next time i wanna on flight mode how leh ?? or it auto on for me??

Menu > Settings > General > Flight Mode > Show at startup
