By default, China ROM (QJKCNXM) is for Redmi k30 pro and zoom edition while Global (QJKMIXM) and EEA (QJKEUXM) ROM are for Poco F2 Pro.

Any of these phones can be cross-flash with any of these firmwares, as long as you don't relock bootloader you should be fine (locking bootloader might hardbrick the device if flashed different rom from the stock).

Global ROM stable update is somewhat slower. So far from the day poco f2 pro was released, iinm, only one update was made available (well its only been two months).

On the other hand, China ROM gets stable update at least a month, sometimes twice.

Forget China and global or EEA ROM, just get the EU ROM if u r planning to flash anyway. No frigging ads and less bloatware.

EU rom is a modded ROM based on China build. 100% ads free. Perhaps the modders are from scandinavian/European countries, hence the EU label.

The official rom made for European countries (or so) is called EEA rom. That one got ads, just like the global rom I think.

That phone would have turned to a frisbsee it that happens to me 😭. I think those people who got random pop up ads must have installed some sketchy apps

Can't recall anything about the miui/Google app dialer/message issue . As for eu rom, the real benefits are ads-free, less bloated, frequent updates from China based rom which then converted to eu rom, and somewhat system optimised which I can't really tell.

Talking about ads, damn open lazada got note 20 ultra exynos sh!t pre order on the main page. That one no need for Xiaomi ads to advertise 😆

Can't tell how long samseng plans to dump all those poorly performed proc to our market 😓.

Not anytime soon. Iinm I read somewhere saying that the device kernel tree (camera part) for this device from xiaomi is incomplete. Some devs are working on it and dunno how long it will take.

The first global update was a month and a half after released. So some might find this is a bit difficult to accept. On the contrary the second one is coming within the next few days and I think this would change the impression for some. As an eu rom user, this has never become an issue to me.

Feature wise, only very minor issue otherwise no complaint at all.
