i'm posting this to hurt anyone ...but just my concern
is it worth taking AP set?
*
First of all actually AP sets and Original Distributor set phone are basically the same in everyway except they may have some extra features which is quite common in Nokia phones.

Worth taking or not?
The answer depends solely on the buyer whether he or she want to buy an AP set or an Original set. Both my parents are using AP headsets and they have yet to complain about it. In my own opinion, I would take some time to put into consideration about getting an AP set or an Original set. Reminding that the fact the Original distributed phones covers more on warranty whereas AP dealers covers less in the warranty.

Normally they should have both. Even my Nokia 8310 has both but the Zitron Sticker don't have only but still original headset.

Check on the hologram stickers and insist on the manufacturer's warranty card. Mind reading the first 2 pages. I am sure you can find some relevant information instead of asking the question again when the answers are already there. smile.gif

All Original distributors have hologram stickers attach to the headset and there is the phone provider's warranty card.

To list a few authorized SE dealers are such as Thorus and Midland as far as i know.

For the difference between AP and original distributed phones, functionality won't differ much between both AP and original distributed phones. Do read up at the beginning of this thread.

There are no major quality difference though because it's the same phone as of the originally distributed phones. There maybe some but it's not very significant..

I am using a AP Nokia 5610 XM currently. There aren't major problems with it though.

Just warranty coverage is different. smile.gif

AP sets cannot send to respective Nokia, SE, Motorola, Samsung, LG and etc. service centres for warranty claiming procedure.

Other aspects are the same.
*
Yeap yeap that's the main thing.

Beside if you wanna have it fixed at the respective service centers it will cost a lot more.

if the IMEI number matches, will the accessories be fake? even if got sticker ... can the hardwares inside be stolen?
*
Normally AP sets, the distributor takes the compatible accessories. Whether or not it's original accessories no one can be possibly sure.

HELLo all, I am going ot buy a CSL set.. whats CSl different from normal AP?
*
CSL is also another AP company.

In terms of tiers, CSL is a 1st tier AP company as they have service centers around the country so warranty claim should not be a major problem. But however, if they do need to do some major services which they don't offer, they do send the phone back to the respective brands' service centers.
