I requesting to closing account and withdraw from wallet around RM 2k+

The main purpose just want to withdraw money only and maybe reopen new Lazada account.

After chat with lazada, they drag some times to send email to me for the supporting document and bank details.

After i sent and few days later, they sent email again to request additional documentation as per below:



Anyone know what kind of document is suitable?
I am a Malaysian and i no plan to oversea @@

I thought you can withdraw money from e-wallet to your bank account directly?

I think i have done b4, not sure if it was Shoppee or Lazada.

You are unable to withdraw when the money is top up by you.
Only can withdraw if the seller cancel or refund to your lazada wallet.

Own deposit or self cancelled cannot.

Thats why i directly plan to close account.

Lazada wallet is a scam lah, they keep your money and say TNC says no withdrawals allowed. Your money is held hostage.

Shopee doesn't have this kind of silly requirement.

Anyway I suggest you go report to KPDNHEP and maybe Bank Negara and tell them you're not being allowed to withdraw your money, all these e-wallets are subject to regulation.

Please follow above answer regarding contacting KPDNHEP. Report lazada to them.

I had to cancel a few orders because of MCO seller tell me cant ship, suggest I cancel.

I didn't know about this nonsense now got some money stuck in the wallet Lazada tell me cannot take out. Its below RM50 so I don't mind so much, I'm still going to complain to KPDNHEP when I get the time to draft out a letter.

Only reason why I used the wallet was when I was placing the order it told me got RM10 incentive to use it if I buy using wallet... but now that RM10 that was credited has disappeared after I cancelled, the CSR told me "it expired"... didn't know money put in wallet also can expire lol.

Better beware lah when using this nonsense. Its very anti-consumer.

I haven't had time to draft out the complaint yet, I only talked to the Lazada CSR yesterday and I've been very busy working from home. Will do so when I have some time on the weekend.

I'm assuming it will be similar to the complaints I've lodged with MCMC, just send an email/input complaint into webform and attach details/evidence and they will contact me & the vendor.

Die die also would not use Lazada wallet, better use tngo ewallet. Don't want to get money stuck inside.

I just use up all the ewallet amount , delete all the information in the app and stop using Lazada...

Hey, im in the same boat as you. I top up without knowing i cant withdraw my deposits around 1.4k. Now i really dont have any plans to use those money. What's your plan? I follow the same procedure as you did and i got the same email in return.

1. Order Cancelled By Seller/Lazada
2. Return Damage/faulty item, Expired/Damaged item (Grocery only) or Received the Wrong item
3. Payment Issues
4. Transaction Limit (Snapshot of the error message)
5. Closure Account (Leaving the country/Visa Expired)

I received the same thing as yours from lazada. I got 2k+ stuck in the wallet. I don't think lazada is going to refund the money with their stupid and ridiculous terms and condition.

I'm having the same issue. I didn't get any benefit from them tho. But they resisted refunding back my money.
