Hello! Silk Road sudah siap la sampai Pakistan boder...we already finished the project there lama sudah..almost 7 years ago. Silk road across central China tu Uzbek/Kyrg border also siap. Modern highways & rail infrastructure.

TS will be disappointed. In fact the belt and road is not really white elephant but meant to defeat US embargo and naval blockade. Belt and road project halted in Europe and south east asia but not west asia and middle east. In fact, the path route linking Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, China, Pakistan, Iran is on.

You will find the useful of highway linking China, Pakistan to Iran allowing China and Russia to supply essential necessities, weapons, parts to Iran.  US naval blockade on sactioned Iran is useless and Iran will be able to defend itself against US invasion. At the same time, logistics firms along the route and other businesses that derived from it prosper.

It is already in construction but to avoid violation of embargo, PRC purposely put it on hold until war happens in Iran, they'll start pumping oils channelling to China in return of food, weapons, equipments trade.

Not white elephant anymore. The pipeline already there but pending activation at right time. China is planning to replace US as oil supplier in Asia to countries without much oil such as Japan, South Korea, Thailand that currently get from US. Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan will share dividends when mining in Spratlys started.  When China influence grow stronger, China no longer obey US sanction and can overwrite dealing with which ever countries blacklisted by US.

Belt and road connecting to China allies already completed and running. Only links to Europe on hold. Russian also already linked up along with its ex-Soviet allies. Belt & road is not for corruption but to supply & trade with China allies bypassing US embargo.

The backdoor way already constructed allowing China to channel goods and supplies express to Iran. You're looking at the front to fool US. Like this, US cannot condemn China coz no proof. Ofcourse civilian like you mustn't know much. Later you will join the condemn and attack PRC for dealing with countries on embargo

dont you think that cargo capacity is a much needed capability no matter where you are in the world

thats just short term thinking. cash is a symbolic construct and will fluctuate due to many factors

infra that you can actually use and touch, that will bring more value in the long run. why do you think physical gold increases in value during times of distress ?

i thought the suppose silk road between east and west already running since 2016 or 17 ? from chong qing as the starting point,  thru xin jiang, moscow, bla bla bla and end at germany ? even this time covid china also use this road to send the medical supply to the west.

why would you want to go to those places when you can go to germany and other europe countries?you need to go to where the money is. so if pakistan has the monehhhh, then they will find a way to trade. but i guess probably just use ship route.

o btw, to those who enjoy train ride, this rail is 11000 km long.

well, if you think economy just all about oil. then yea. but since when pakistan is known of its oil ?

The oil pipeline is the primary objective from the beginning, hence the new silk road.
That's why it is already a failure as you mentioned it.
