My mom left her key inside the car at her house, she called me how. I am also not sure, car is axia. Spare key cant find, i google also no help cuz most of them are advice if the lock mechanism is beside the window, not at the door side.

did it with my old saga blm a couple of times (cause my alarm system faulty, the car alarm will trigger itself for no reason). so i tend to manually lock the car, then pull the handle while closing the door.

i have spare key at home. so i'm saved.

but anyway, you can try asking lock smith to unlock the car door manually for you. the alarm might trigger, but you can turn that off once you can access the key inside the car.

a few flaw here
1. how the key being locked inside when the car is relatively new, there are no case of axia auto-locking the car
2. most oddest part is how the heck can the spare key be missing?...this is the most mind boggling part

Get a wedge shaped item, jam it into the window frame. Its somewhat flexible just enough to get a small rod like shape into the gap.

Unravel a metal cloths hanger to fish the keys out (assuming its somewhere reasonably able to reach).

If not, like others said... locksmith.

Auto lock features in a bad way

use a cloth hanger and bend it to a hook shape. Then insert through the door seam and try to pull out the door lock mechanism. Not easy especially for the physically challenged people.

my toyolta if it is in locked mode, i press remote to unlock but i didnt open any doors, it will auto lock back after awhile.


Anyway if got buy windscreen insurance just break the window and go fix new window u can claim it without affecting NCD.

Same as yours but some old cars especially the local one will have defective locking system causes auto lock. I meant by this

Thats the first time i hear.

Since its a known issue then precaution should be taken but seems like failed.
So still the same solution break the glass or alternatively try get a locksmith to open.

Not that common and differ for each variants
