reminds me of a lenglui back then in school, her canto is really hongkie style canto, but it didnt cross my mind then and thought maybe because she watch too much hongkie drama.
last month i happen to bump into her again in some restaurant sitting a table away but didnt go say hi lah, just pandang tepi2 only. no longer as lenglui as back then, body abit more meat, got one kid. but she is speaking in the same distinct hongkie canto with her kid. that intonation, that choice of words that isnt quite malaysian canto slang. gave me the jitters
