Sort of.. been wanting a flagship phone at 2k RM price point for years now but all Android manufacturers kept upping their prices to match Apple instead.. so stupid, Android phones selling point has always been because they are cheaper and offer same goodies as an iPhone.

So yeah, Apple have flipped the script here, offering a budget phone with good enough tech for casual users. So why not?.. for the price of the top end s20, I can get a 128gb iphone SE, battery case, airpods and a refurbished Apple watch..

And still be saving money..
That makes so much more sense to me.

Agree. This se will last you 4 years. At least iOS updates will be supported this long.

when will this phone released in Malaysia? saw the pricing in website but no indication of pre-order or anything

yea can't wait for more info from local telcos also. so far no news

saw celcom's banner is up too. if can get SE for RM500 and below from celcom, will seriously consider it.

He got a point though, remember SE2020 is still a "budget" phone from Apple...so dont expect Apple flagship experience, even with a13 inside...

does hotlink postpaid offer any premium phone at the moment? last time i checked is very limited to android lower end.

If I remember correctly, they did offer older models of Iphone under Hotlink Postpaid a while ago.

But you are right, Iphone is a premium brand, most likely offer under Maxis RM98 postpaid plan.

While old iphone SE already perform well and received latest IOS12, judging from here, new iphone SE will easily last at least 4 years..

So how the camera comparison, in my noob eye, i can see that, due to A13, its improvement over the ip8...and it trade blow with XR...the 11 definitely alot better especially in lowlights...maybe due too deep fusion and hardware which Se2020 lack of....in summary i think due to A13 the SE camera is on par with XR....
