in fact, i was hoping a se 1 form factor. i used it for 2 months last year, fall in love with it. single hand usage its super convenient. but then again, screen this size wouldn't be practical nowadays unless it's a secondary backup phone.

QUOTE(Punish @ Apr 17 2020, 11:42 AM) I kinda having a bad feeling when i know its the same size battery as the ip8....i scare they recycle the old battery from the ip8 stock for the se2020 in order to cut cost to hit that price point...if thats the case, its certainly gonna effect battery longevity...i hope not.. I think chances are slim. After the performance downgrade fiasco, Apple wouldn’t dare to pull such a trick. nothing new on technology of SE and they just assemble them together. 0 RnD cost, 0 design cost, minimal manufacture cost. Thus, apple continue milking consumer out of old technology. This post has been edited by asamalikum: Apr 17 2020, 12:08 PM |

QUOTE(WiLeKiyO @ Apr 18 2020, 02:13 PM) What's wrong with 4G phones? Do we have 5G now in Malaysia? How reliable 5G is? Agree. In fact I rather go with 4g if they can reduce the price. 5g in Malaysia will need at least another year or two before it hits mainstream. In Malaysia, we barely get decent 4G speed in Klang Valley. |

QUOTE(bobotorix @ Apr 18 2020, 03:39 PM) if only the battery is sub 2500 mah then they'll need to redesign the internal circuit board which leads to further investment which leads to higher price. using old reliable technology and assemble it together is the best move for both apple and us consumer. why not apple opt for battery capacity too rather than storage that varies, people can choose bigger battery capacity |
