1. Contacted Apple just now, fark on hold for almost 40 minutes but finally they've confirmed that the transaction were fraudulent and cancelled and proceed with the refund. Apple also asked me to contact Maybank to cancel the card

2. Contacted Maybank again claiming that my CC data has been stolen, they've straightly blocked and ask for my address to send new card (Should arrive in 5 working days). They've also asked me to fill up dispute form to claim for refund. This dispute one, take 45 working days. Haihhh

call maybank, say your cc detail kena curi, later they ask you some questions and ask you to cancel and make new card, no extra charge. wait 2 weeks then they'll reverse the charge.

If it's charged to your account and email, you should get invoices from apple

Report & tell them your card got compromised. They will investigate. You still have to make the payment first, they will then refund you but have to wait a month or so.

I've experienced this before and they cleared out my bank account in 15 minutes (debit card). It wasn't that much at that time (around 10-15k). It happened around 5am. I woke up because of the text messages that I received from the transactions.

I called Maybank and made a police report. Maybank cancelled my card almost immediately and refunded me in 1 week time.

Is something going on with tigerbank2u? Not long ago my sister's account got "debited" few hundreds ringgit without any notification. Called their CS then got to know there's this sohai "Goals" function or some shit like that, which actually allocates a specified amount of money and shows as debited from account, all while not needing TAC and no notification. They suspect her account was compromised so just reset password.

Not sure if yours is similar case but anyway call CS and work shit out ASAP

I remember when I linked by BigPay to iTunes account linked to iPad, it asked for CVV and TAC before I can even store the card number.

So if you didn't enter TAC to validate first time, how iTunes get to store your card number for reuse?

Let me give an unsolicited advise:

Use BigPay card - or any prepaid card - for Paypal, Lazada, Shopee, iTunes, Play Store.

I already removed any credit card and debit card that I used before. I don't even use my debit card anymore at payment terminals.

Hassle to transfer slightly higher amount than anticipated to cover immediate purchase. But that's the idea. Fraudster cannot execute, and I cannot go over budget.

Just make a dispute report to your card issuer, they will bear the fraud expenses used on your existing card and give you a new card.

then you better go change the payment feature on your apple account. remove all "link credit card" and all other accounts in other platform like shopee lazada etc.

I using optional saving account just for using debit card online purchase fund transfer when needed if not most of the time this account will be RM 30 available all my cc cancelled Long Long time ago once kena few times.....

Go check la at online at your Apple account. If you subscribe to any apps or icloud storage usually it will show there

i only use prepaid cc like bigpay to link with google play/itunes.

i will put in money the exact amount when i need to make payment...

Let's TS get back to us after clarification with Apple support team. I think he need to check whether those payment comes from his Apple ID or not.

Yes, the safest way is to have a debit card with difference account that's not link together with a saving account. For linked accounts do make sure auto-debit is disabled.

Last time i kena around 3k. But maybank service really tip top.
Call to block my card, next day fill up dispute form and walla... the amount not been reflected into my statement.
That is why i prefer using cc since it is easy to dispute some of fraud transaction unlike debit.

beside that is quite common for small shop to take partial of those credit card number.
the small supermaket that i usually visit did take the first 4 and the last 4 number of my credit card, but of course they dont have a look on cvc number at all.

i kena two google play store fraudulent charge back to back and it was Maybank that called me within half hour to ask me whether i did the transactions. i told them no and immediately the CS told me they'll cancel my card and the transactions and will send a new card.
