If you are not dating in your late teens and 20s, you are missing out on a lot.

If you wait until your 30s to start dating, you will end up either a bachelor for life as the pool of eligible women around your age dwindles or get divorced by a younger girl a few years into your married life due to inexperience and super huge age gap (most cultural references she makes won’t make much sense to you, aka generation gap).

Start dating from young as the experience you built up from failed relationships will propel you forward in your quest to find the right girl and keeping her.

You can’t start going to school only in your 20s. It would be too late for you to catch up and learn how to read.

Same thing with dating. You can’t start too late or it will be too late for you to catch up and learn anything.
