Hi, I am subscribed to DiGi home fiber and I recently bought a new TP-link Deco M4

I want to replace the existing Wifi router (ZTE ZXHN H198A) with the tp-link.

using default settings I was able to set up the wifi but I am not getting internet access.

I believe there is a communication issue between the Modem(ZTE ZXHN F600) and the tp-link using the default settings (dynamic IP and VLANs)

Can someone help me with this issue? Is there something that I need to change manually during the setup?

Thanks in advance

haha yes currently I'm in this setup but it just annoys me to see 2 diffs SSID and I need to power the stock router as well. it's okay as a workaround for time being but not for long term use.

Step 9: Configure VLAN settings

Turn on the VLAN toggle and select the Malaysia-TM Unifi profile. Click next once you are done.

This one, you choice Digi instead of TM. thumbsup.gif

Hmm, as Digi Fiber is too rare, if this can't be found, you should seek the old router (ZTE ZXHN H198A) vlan settings, and set it to your new router.

If it is empty in your old router, good news, no vlan, just disable the vlan. thumbsup.gif

Your IP address must be same as the Original Digi one.

So managed to set it up with help of DiGi support of course.
The process was similar to TM router replacement guide as below

https://www.blacktubi.com/review/tp-link-deco-m4-review/

But PPOE credentials are different (obviously). You will need to contact Digi for this information.
VLAN mode to 'custom' and ID is 1001. VLAN priority 0-7(up to you)

TP-Link Deco M4 is really good.

For those asking about DiGi Home Fibre reliability, surprisingly good. been using for 4 months now.
But got an issue of lost connection from the main box outside the house twice. When we ask them why they said someone disconnected it on purpose. Not sure how true is that but since its a new housing area there is a lot of cabling work going on and other vendors setting up their fibers.

Apart from that 100Mbps works like a charm. thumbup.gif
