Let's be realistic here, why should people in quarantine be treated like they're being sent to jail? Is it any surprise people want to escape quaantine then?

Not wayang. I am not sure if Johor has the Hotel Quarantine Centres or not but KL/Selangor has plenty.

My theory: I think this guys are from SG and now Johor hotels maybe fully utilized by qurantines since there are like few thousands Msian from SG. So no choice Johor have to open schools for them I guess.

He does have a choice to go to one of the hotel setup for quarantine though. But then again that condition, I'm not sure how it can possibly be good to those that are being quarantined. Just need one infected person in the room to spread to the entire place.

Is good that finally people can see what the typical asrama is like. Our group used to book in asrama for retreat camps during holidays, but for the price you pay it’s actually better, cleaner to rent in a home stay bungalow. Most of the problems with asrama related to the cleanliness especially the toilets and showers.
