This GunMetalX fella AGREED to buy my V3XX for RM600. The night before COD he SMS me saying lelong got cheaper price - RM550. So he wants RM580... or else he walks.



What do you think?

Not FFK, i asked to lower the price, say got others selling at 550, so i said i made a promise but hope he can lower it la, say 580.. This seller say he has other buyer offering 600, so i said ok fine, offer the item to the other buyer as i couldn't match the offer.. So now he's crying over spilled milk.. I'm still ok if he's willing to sell at 580..

FFK? more like "I agreed on your price then found somewhere cheaper so I'll try and lower the price" case. He then threatens to pull out if you don't give him a cheaper price. If you want to negotiate the price, do it BEFORE you agree on a price. I have nothing about the rights of a buyer, but if this damages your credibility hugely.


Would you, as a seller trust anything this buyer says?

I've been asking since last week, u were outstation last week, supposed to deal last weekend.. if last weekend cod, rm600 yes.. But u couldn't make it so i say confirm the details again yesterday(tues) to cod today, and during that time i asked to lower the price..

Yeah i said confirm on tues, and that's when u say u got buyer at rm600 and i say i'm sorry i cant match it, my best offer is rm580 since there are people selling for rm550, so i ask u to go ahead to sell to the other buyer.. So aren't u supposed to be selling the set to the other buyer now? Why do u still wanna dispute here?

Well, this forum is made for issues like these, no matter how minor. After all I AM an aggrieved party, and you dishonored the sale.

Read the post properly. You said you'll confirm the TIME on Tuesday, not the PRICE. You even agreed on RM600. It's all there.

Yes, I had other offers for RM600, but I honored the deal I made with you because I confirmed yours first -- right until the last minute you canceled it, or rather forced me to cancel because you can't meet the AGREED price.

lol~ actually this nothing wrong here..but u can consider FFK case since buyer decided to play a wid card a day before COD is done... and for seller it's common situation lar~~...heck u should be glad this buyer back off his offer before met u..some of us (not me.. ) had to wait for buyer( mostly ffk case... ) a couple hour and the buyer doesn't show up!!! and even some don't want to pick up their HP..( damn coward lol~ ) ...i think this is common thing of doing a bussines.. but a advice to buyer..plz don't do this a last minute dohh~~..u should appologies at seller as u cancel a last minute deal larr....not by doing threaten him??!! can we make peace for two of u..??!!!

i'm also a seller so i know la, this rm20 discount is peanuts la, if he can't give just say la can't give, then i may still consider.. instead wanna tarik harga say got buyer at rm600, who tak bengang? Dude i did trade a few times more than this amount la, if one seller dowan sell there are still nine other sellers..

Peanuts may be peanuts, but it's a matter of principle. Good for you if you trade a few times more, but to me, a deal's a deal.

And i did not play a wild card, i'm an honest and responsible buyer, it's true that there's another item of the same nature at a cheaper price..

but do realise bro..HP price is like a stock market!! today ur buy at RM1k++...tommorow maybe the price will go down to just RM800 only...but heck~ i think u know already that right?? coz i saw u trying to sell ur HP for nearly 1 month....ur HP price became lower and lower right???.....since u already agree to deal with buyer with that price...no need to became "bengang" if seller won't low down his selling price....do u think seller not "bengang" ke after he wait 1 week( i really don't know the exact time ) to deal with u...then u want to back off the deal last minute??!!

Haha further debate will just result to nowhere, i'll just save my energy.. U don't geddit, it's not i can't wait and i didn't cancel the deal, i just changed it to mirror current conditions where the phone price has dropped, and he's unagreeable and further say that he has other buyer willing to meet his demand, so i thought no harm la if i call it off.. Now he come and create a scene about it

To beeped - Nothing u can do now except for dealing with other ppl offering u RM600. And if u want, u can always avoid GunmetalX offer after this. One more thing, u should be prepare enuf to facing buyer like him. U cant expect the deal goes as u want even only 5 minutes b4 deal.

To GunMetalX - Yes, it is your rights to choose which seller is selling cheaper price, but please, what you have done to beeped can make ppl avoid to deal with u. In other words, can spoil your reputation.

Stop putting words in my mouth you forked-tongued waste of blood and organs. Once you agree to something you don't try and weasel out even though you found a cheaper item somewhere else. You had the chance to negotiate BEFORE you agreed to the price. And you AGREED to wait. So don't blame me for being out of town. I held the item for you in good faith even though I had other offers, which is more than I can say for you.

Your integrity and reputation is at stake. Pointing fingers won't help matters. If you want people to feel comfortable dealing with you then HONOR the agreements you make. Pathetic.

one question : that lelong v3xx is an auction or sale?
if auction, YOU MAY NOT GET RM550 AT ALL at the end of the auction, if its a sale, i sure as hell don't see it now.

to gunmetalx : if you don't like the rm600 price just pull out, not ask for price reduction at the last minute AND threaten (i believe this is the MOST IMPORTANT detail) to pull out, you MAY ask for a price reduction based on current market, true i give that to you BUT seller also have the rights to NOT deal with such blackmailers as he have stuck with you all this time despite other offers

It was an auction. The rest of the v3xx in there are at least the same price or more expensive than what I'm quoting.

for me...there is no any contract or formal agreement occur or made...only confirmed through the sms / pm ..so i think we cant do much on this case lar...if got sign contract or blabla then can shoot the buyer lar..but now different story wat..somemore the item dun need to order 1..and got other buyer too..so seller jus sell to that buyer lor..

somemore most of the seller will ask buyer pay deposit to avoid ffk ...the deal is made a week b4 rite? u can jus ask him pay u deposit first so he cant nego the price at last minute...so i think we cant do much on this lor ==

I did not try to weasel out, i just pointed the fact that there are sellers letting go at 550 and since i have adi made a promise, i'll buy from you too, but i hope that the price will be lowered to 580..

Anyhow no use babbling here, i have offered to honour the deal at 600, it's up to the seller now.. Either way i consider this case closed, no more flaming, personal attacks whatsoever.. Hope the mods can close this thread.

auction cannot guarantee that you will get lower than rm600
so auction price cannot be used to gauge market price!
