Lenovo Y410 from 2008. Amazing keyboard. Got IBM DNA in it. Still working perfect, but nowadays too slow for general work.

Now just use as thinclient for ssh.

Too many to show here. I've 2 Lenovo, 1 Macbook Air and 1 Surface Pro 7.

Useful now since both my kids have to do online study.

I bought one with similar keyboard and got ibm emblem instead of lenovo on the lid. forgot what model. still having it but at other location. The lid plastic becomes sticky and almost brittled. Don't know how to solve it.

Moka @ Dell Inspiron L502X, 8GB RAM, 120GB SSD, Intel Core i7, running on Windows 7 Home Edition. This was given by a friend to check. The laptop will occasionally hang with weird graphic artifacts. Found out the GPU is semi faulty. Avoid laptops with Nvidia chipsets. After restoring it, I repurposed it as my home entertainment box. Kinda useless for work due to faulty GPU.

mine currently is hp envy 13 2018, battery life very kuat but got cooling problem

got another lenovo x1 carbon gen 3 bought 2nd hand, but the battery deteriorated and cannot last long

surface pro 4. nothing to shout about. got battery drain issue after shutdown even disabled connected standby

About 9-10 laptops. All owned by me or company. Never sold or dispose of them. Prefer to restore and repurpose them.

Not really. I enjoyed restoring old devices from laptops to iPods. Very therapeutic during the MCO. Heck, even my Mac Mini received major overhaul yesterday. Cleaned all the first and lub the exhaust fan.

It's ok for normal work.. office.. youtube.. surfing.. no problem. Display is very nice.. nicer than a lot branded laptop that uses TN panel.. this one uses IPS LCD.. so viewing angle is excellent. Uses m.2 ssd too.. but for gaming part.. it's using remote desktop to my pc.. so can game .. haha

Dunno is it because used to work with a company that provides IBM laptop for whatever works. The middle red dot, the physical left right mouse button pad, and the keyboard typing feel... Is damn memorable. If its not because I no longer have any need of any of these IBM machines, I might really get one for my own fun. Durable too.
