IMO, you upgrade mainly for platform features like NVMe only.

nah, forget it.
better to get ryzen 1000 if no budget.
i sold my x6 for rm250 with mobo, hyper 612s and 12GB of ram.
on second thought, maybe should have kept the 612s and mod it on my gpu.
