I plan to buy a new mb A200, can anyone recommend which dealer is better? HapSeng or C&C?

Do they accept trade in for my Perodua Myvi?

You are buying it just for the looks? additional 50k go for A250. i think A200 isn't really worth the money to be honest.

Agreed. I would so far as to recommend getting A250 pre-reg or slightly used than to go for the A200. I tried the A250 and it was a bang!

Wow huge upgrade eh! Anyway A200 is not worth it, even A250 is not good either. The only worth A class is the A45 but it's much more expensive. If budget around 150-200k then the best choice is a used 2015-2016 BMW 330i F30 (the non-hybrid version).

No wonder I hardly see any new A class sedan on the road. Hardly.
Its about the size of a Honda City / Vios.

Rm227k new a200 can buy a lot of faster hot hatch..

Can get new mini cooper

Can got new vw golf gti

Can get less than 5 years used golf r

All is way faster and easily breach 200kmh.

Tbh. A new a class is headturner. Very few on the road. Inside is so modern with ambient light.

But rm227k price tag is not match with a200 performance. Too expensive for its horsepower offering.

with all the cars you mentioned , still better to stick to the merz.

A200 and A250 is similar enough that when you are considering A200, you should consider A250 as well, one is faster than the other and then there is the bodykit differences too

Like when I was in the market for the G20 I could have opted for a new 320i for 243k, but I went for prereg 330i for RM240k after someone mentioned that option.

I originally thought of going for A250, but if I go for A250, I might as well go for the CLA coupe, both quite similar price. And A200 so far is the cheapest new MB available that I can afford.

Any Shifu can suggest I should go to HapSeng Star or C&C? Which of them can offer better ? And do they accept Myvi trade-in?

CLA? You should watch the latest moose safety test done on it where it failed miserably! Probably the normal A class also will fail similarly coz it's similar setup.

Personally my opinion, below C class are poor man models. The only A-class people are crazy is the A45 AMG, lower than that is like meh.. FYI, if not mistaken available FWD for those lower model. Only A45 AMG is AWD which will provide better stability at high speed and cornering and also the roadtax still just 2.0L. I would better search for 2nd market for A45 AMG if you just want the looks or wow effect. People who knows cars will dig about AMG spec. If not i will just skip and direct go for C-Class if above 200k, which is more executive level and RWD driven.

1.3L which has 164 horses and 250NM is a respectable amount of power. Of course it wont give a Golf GTI power.
For comparisons, 250NM , has more torques than a Camry 2.5V and Civic 1.5

Power to weight ratio 7.6hp/KG is better than Camry 2.5V.

Someone who drives this will only need a short burst of power when necessary. Most of the time will just cruise along.
If soneone wanna be an Ah Beng driver, go get a Civic FC Turbo for the horsepower.

Oh well, typical Malaysian mentality. Race mode everytime.

Yes TS, all dealers for MBM would have their own in house used car departmemt or 3rd party used car dealers to take in your myvi should you buy younnew car from them.

On whether which dealer will give you the best deal for both the A Class and the Myvi, you would have to scout around different dealers and compare before taking the plunge. Tip, let the sales advisor know are scouting around already. Both Hap Seng and C&C are main dealers to MBM with many branches around.

Hi TS, I straight to your question. I placed booking for my wife the A200, everything settled including loan but unable to register in time due to MCO. Athough I bought mine thru C&C earlier, but the SA from HSS more service oriented and also HSS offer better package overall. They do accept trade in and currently their offer very attractive interest rates. You can PM me if you need my SA contact.

topup a bit go for A250. bigger engine and more powderfull

I bought mine pre-owned in C&C, but the after sales service & professionalism, I found HSS is much better, and I prefer HSS Balakong.

Buy the one you can afford comfortably, if you don't need 4-Matic or AMG power, better stay away, service & maintainence fees are way different.

Yes, did consider that and you are right, more powerful and AMG trim nicer too.

Only thing that really dislike is the sports seat, too sporty and not to my wife's liking, it is also not as comfortable as compare to the full leather seat in A200.

Already having 250 at home, so not a big deal to us.
