ikr so are you taking the risk or will wait till nx mth for the new phone launching?
im on the fence now, half half but the sales is soon  sweat.gif

My heart tells me to wait for Realme 7.

But my current phone doesn't work well anymore. sad.gif

Btw, I read a few article regarding RAM capacity, 4GB might not be enough anymore, so better buy a phone with at least 6GB RAM.

It depend on how u use & manage the phone. My daily driver phone is Galaxy A30 [4gb ram with a lousy exynos SOC].....works good for me. And my Realme 6 4gb ram also no lagging issue [my secondary phone], mostly i use it for gaming.
Unless u are a heavy multitasking user.....then minimun must be 6gb/8gb of ram
*
My current phone also has 4GB, it serves me well.

What I'm worry is that future software update might need bigger RAM to run the OS smoothly, since 4GB is like the minimum and 6GB/8GB is the norm.

Dont worry about the RAM... worry about the price...

4GB is plenty enough for China phone that kept killing tasks in background.
*
That's mean it's not enough RAM.

Chinese OEM had a habit of aggressively killing apps even when there adequate RAM

They do this do save battery life.

So they can boast how great their battery life is.

Ok, thanks, quite good price. Still undecided between realme 6 and note 9s. Seems like both of them are quite on par.

Quick question.

Since Realme 6 supports 40W charging, do I need a special USB cable that support fast charging?

I'm overwhelmed with the types of cable in the market.

Only 4GB and 8GB for Realme 6.

And the price gap between 4GB and 8GB is pretty huge.

The snapdragon 720 on the redmi 9s is the better soc compared to the G90T. Benchmarks are higher on the G90T but not in real world usage, the snapdragon runs cooler, throttles less and gcam mods/custom rom/recovery are going to be easier to develop compared to mediatek soc.
Realme ui is leaner less bloat, doesn't have spyware/junk like miui which has gotten worse lately.

Post this on Note 9 thread and people will fight you.

It is, but don't have to decide so soon. Still got time to see if there will be better deals coming around.
Will eventually come here too. Maybe a month later, I guess.

Did Realme 6 launch on the same day as India?

Yeah, the India market is more of entry to midrange, so I'm not expecting the 7 to be too highly priced. Fingers crossed!

<RM1000 is a good buy.

I'll skip the RM699 sales tomorrow and wait for Realme 7 instead.

I can wait, but not that long. My current phone is pretty much dying, but it might survive for another month.

As per the tweet by known tipster Mukul Sharma, the Realme 7 Pro will feature a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display. There is a hole-punch cut out for the selfie camera, as seen in the official invite for the launch event. The phone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC and come in two configurations, namely 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB.

Same SoC as Realme 6. sad.gif

I guess they want to keep the price down.
