QUOTE(intune @ Aug 23 2007, 02:55 PM) Got my Q6600 last week and now pairing it with Xigmatek S1283 and MX-2 TIM. Results are good and now gradually burning in my Quad. Anyways im having irregularities of temp between Cores.. Temp of COre 0 and Core 3 seems to be at average 8-10C! I tried to reseat the HSF cooler but same result. Anyone having similar issues? Im suspecting either Quad IHS or my Xigmatek HSF is concave. it might really concave(IHS) lucky me, i didnt face any prob like this.. btw, what program u use to stress all of the cores? QUOTE(intune @ Aug 23 2007, 09:22 PM) i mean the temp..will definitely try higher FSB when my Quad finish burnin period.. Tried 350X9 today and was stable.. Anyways im only using 965 mobo (Biostar 965PT) im sure i can better results with a P35 board. ic.. well, im also still on 965p, currently only at 356 x9 i believe we can get better result if using 35p board

QUOTE(QiW @ Dec 14 2007, 07:29 AM) yaa .. the temp very strange .. extremely high altho no very high vcore oso ... thats why dare not push any further until i get new cooler ... i have oso written to intel regarding this temperature prob .. of coz cannot tell them i OC laa .. damm bloody intel .. telling me to test this and that .. change mobo laa .. change casing laa .. my airflow no good la .. etc etc .. just look at my GPU and mobo temp .. very good temps on those 2 item what ... only cpu temp fark up .. so cannot be my airflow prob liau maaa ... have to see how ... save $$$ to get new cooler lorr ... my current ninja previously used on my pentiumD 3.2ghz oso load kow kow forever temp oso never exceeded 61C ... sometimes the temperature reported by software cant be trust, when priming moment try touch ur HSF & see wheter its really hot or just warm & compared with the temperature reported..
