try multi 6x, and pump your fsb and see how high it can go. How about your ram ? tested stable ? what about alpha timings ?

QUOTE(wilsonyap @ Jun 5 2009, 10:43 PM) running 3dmark06 doesnt mean that your proc is stable at that clock with that voltage QUOTE(jianguang87 @ Jun 5 2009, 11:17 PM) What stepping is your proc? G0? Try to clock as much as you can with stock vcore, see how much you can get till you hit the ceiling with the stock vcore. From there only you can progress further notch by notch. There's no shortcut to success Yes, BurgerRI my proc is G0 stepping de.Can u give me some idea to clock till 3.6ghz with stable????Thanks QUOTE(monsh @ Jun 5 2009, 11:22 PM) wah 1.375 for 3.6ghz very nice ur proc ! There is no particular reason for your proc unable to run at 3.8ghz if every combination and setting were met, unless your q66 are already at its limit.i nid 1.45 but still considered ok la . hmm uzairi me dunno play RAM so much ^^, hehe i tried reducing timer, add voltage, tRFD set 50 PL lvl 8 , watsoever oso cant get it stable . is there by chance dat my proc wont allow me do 3.8ghz ? |

Able to boot doesnt mean its stable, tried 3.7ghz and 3.8ghz ? Make them stable first, then only aim for higher clock.
Try to play with vtt, vnb and gtlref. You should know you ram limit too so that you know that its not the ram that is the culprit. |

QUOTE(8tvt @ Aug 26 2009, 01:47 PM) what's your budget ?QUOTE(Dickong @ Aug 26 2009, 05:40 PM) I have the same problem with you when i was using 6600GO, it will never go above 3.2g, anything above 3.2g not stable, i think the mobo problem, my mobo is p35 ds3 rev 2.0 I used that mobo before and still i managed to do 3.8ghz rock stable. So the mobo is not the problem |

QUOTE(joe_star @ Jan 29 2010, 08:32 AM) My noob OC with Q6600 try to use Linx or IBT bro, that would be much better in stressing the proc and test its stability. OCCT are meant for whole system stability iinm Proc: Intel Q6600 G0 with Tuniq Tower 120 Mobo: Abit IP35-E (bios 18) Ram: Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2x1GB ![]() Never OC-ed this proc before cos my mobo bios didnt support it. Just flashed to bios 18 and it works very well QUOTE(monsh @ Feb 12 2010, 01:38 AM) been using Q6600 for the last 3 years and still kicking . LOLactually started showing degrading T_T prime not stable but gaming still stable . so i just leave mine at 3.6ghz . too lazy to bump more vCore . and too sad to see my OC goes lower . will move on to i7 next project ^^, try adding some vcore to see if its stable again or not, it might be your rams degrading too |
