PETALING JAYA: Inundated with online applications from those seeking cash under Putrajaya’s Covid-19 stimulus package, the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) today clarified that money would be automatically paid to those qualified as long as they have tax numbers.

In a statement, LHDN said only those without tax accounts need to register online.

It said recipients of the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) cash aid will automatically get their payments as part of the RM250 billion stimulus package announced by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin last week.
